Overview
The gripper designed for handling a full product layer weighing up to 180 kg with dimensions of 1200×800 mm.
The gripper is equipped with:
A servo-driven retractable roller curtain,
Internal layer clamping mechanisms for longitudinal positioning,
A transverse layer centering system,
A vacuum gripper for handling cardboard sheets.

Challenges and Solutions
The key challenge was the strict weight limit for the gripper — it had to weigh no more than 255 kg while handling a product layer weighing 180 kg.
This challenge was successfully addressed through careful design optimization and the use of lightweight materials such as titanium and duralumin, ensuring the required performance without compromising strength and reliability.
