Challenges and Solutions
The key challenge was to create a versatile device for securely positioning large, flexible workpieces.
By using large-diameter cylindrical guides, the required structural rigidity was achieved to meet the production process demands. The use of a servo drive ensured high positioning accuracy.
Additionally, the device successfully combined two seemingly incompatible functions:
Precise centering of the workpiece,
Rough loading and unloading of the workpiece.
This solution optimized the machining process and improved the overall efficiency of the equipment.
